5. You don't say Phuket to Phuket

Is it February or only
mid-October?
I can never tell either
if I'm feeling drunk or sober

In the distance an elephant
called your name.
The motorbike chants
rang through the heat again.
...

In the end we were
always meant to see this,
always meant for
these sweat-stained streets,
my friends.
The flight from Bangkok to Phuket was incredible. Thai airlines, the whole plane was like first class. If you ever get the chance to fly with these guys internationally I would jump all over it.

We had called our friend Jen who used to work at swigs with me. She now lives in Phuket on the southern tip of the island in a town called Rawaii. Phuket is famous for its party towns such as Patong and it's large beaches. Rawaii is definitely neither of those things. However it does have some nice smaller beaches and of course if you want to find a party there is always one raging just around the corner somewhere, even in this sleepy older community. It's nice to have a stop in Rawaii to charge the batteries.
BEST. HOSTS. EVER!!!!

Gumby would  like you to consider this.

Outside Jen and Dean's gate.

Other way

Yup there's a pool

They also have icon bar (an English owned pub/nightclub/resort), some cool Muay Thai gyms where I might train for a couple weeks and some beautiful girls (of course). The one night we really partied we checked out a wicked cover band that played pretty much anything we could throw at then from tool to Queens of the stone age.
Jen and Dean (her husband) were pretty much the best hosts ever for the time we spent here and showed us an amazing time. Ryan sure enjoyed the first couple nights as well. Or was that Sloth from the goonies?

HEEEEEY YOOOUUU GUUUUYS!!!!

Song more beer in paradise,
Daniel Double-u
